Let's support our lovely Earth with Earth Hour.

When will the Earth Hour be held?

Earth Hour Event will be held on 27 March 2010 at 8:30 p.m (GMT +8) till 9:30 p.m.

What do we do at Earth Hour?

Participants will save the electricity in that switching off the (unnecessary) lights and switches.

Who are celebrating?

Most of the largest Corporations, Companies, Organizations, Communities, and many Individuals will be celebrating all over the world.

We can be one of them. That will save vast amount of energy.

So Let's stretch the life of our Earth to some extent and enjoy the beautiful nature of the Earth. :)

Pit Viper များ

ကျွန်တော်တို့ သိကြပြီးဖြစ်တဲ့ စပါးအုံး၊ စပါးကြီး၊ ခလောက်မြွေ အစရှိတဲ့ ထူးခြားစွာခံစားသိရှိနိုင်တဲ့ Pit Viper အနွယ်ဝင်မြွေတွေမှာ တခြား ဘယ်နို့တိုက်သတ္တဝါမျှ လိုက်မမှီနိုင်တဲ့ ထူးခြားတဲ့ ဆဋ္ဌအာရုံ အရည်အသွေးတစ်ခု ရှိနေတယ်။

အဲဒါဘာလဲဆိုရင် သူတို့ရဲ့ မျက်လုံးနဲ့ နှာခေါင်းပေါက်အကြားမှာ အခေါင်းပေါက် (ပစ်) လေး ပါရှိတယ်။ အဲဒီအပေါက်လေးကတဆင့် အနီအောက်ရောင်ခြည်ကို အသုံးပြုပြီး သားကောင်တွေရဲ့ အပူလှိုင်းတွေကို ဖမ်းယူသိရှိ ပုံဖော်နိုင်ခြင်းပါပဲ။

တွေ့ရှိချက်ကတော့ သူတို့ရဲ့ ခန္ဓာကိုယ်ထဲက TRPA1 ဆိုတဲ့ ပရိုတင်းတစ်ခုကနေ အပူကို ဖမ်းယူသိရှိနိုင်ခြင်းဆိုတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီဆဲလ်ဟာ လူတွေရဲ့ ကိုယ်က အပူကြောင့်နာကျင်မှုကို သိရှိခံစားနိုင်တဲ့ ဆဲလ် နဲ့ အတူတူပါပဲ။ အလုပ်လုပ်ပုံက အာရုံကြောသေးသေးလေးတွေရဲ့ လှုံ့ဆော်မှုကို ခေါင်းရဲ့တစ်ဖက်တစ်ချက်စီက အဲဒီ ပစ် လေးတွေရဲ့ အခေါင်းလေးတွေကနေ အပူထုတ်လွှတ်မှုတွေကို ဖမ်းယူကြခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ယင်းအလုပ်လုပ်ပုံကို အပူဖြင့်ပုံဖော်ခြင်း (heat vision) လို့လည်းခေါ်ပါတယ်။ အနီအောက်ရောင်ခြည်တွေဟာ သာမန် မျက်စိဖြင့်မြင်နိုင်တဲ့ အလင်းထက် (longer wavelength) ပိုဝေးဝေးသွားနိုင်ပြီး အပူထုတ်လွှတ်တဲ့ သားကောင်ရဲ့ သုံးဖက်မြင်ပုံရိပ်ကို ရယူပါတယ်။ အဲဒီပုံရိပ်ဟာ သားကောင်နဲ့ ရင်ဆိုင်ရာမှာ အရေးကြီးဆုံး အထောက်အကူဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

အဲဒီ ပစ် (pit)တစ်ခုစီမှာ အခန်း နှစ်ခန်းရှိပါတယ်။ အတွင်းခန်း နဲ့ အပြင်ခန်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အတွင်းခန်းဟာ ခန္ဓာကိုယ်တွင်း အပူချိန်အတွက် ဖြစ်ပြီး အပြင်ခန်းကတော့ ပြင်ပ အပူရင်းမြစ်ကို သိရှိနိုင်စေပါတယ်။

Pit Viper မြွေတွေဟာ အဲဒီ အပူချိန်သိရှိရာမှာ အလွန်ပင်တိကျပါတယ်။ အသေးစိတ်အနေဖြင့် အတွင်းနဲ့ အပြင် အပူချိန်ကွားခြားချက်ကို ဝ.၀၀၂ နေရာအထိ တိတိကျကျ သိရှိနိုင်ပါတယ်။

အဲဒီလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ဟာ ဘာနဲ့ အလားသဏ္ဍာန်တူသလဲဆိုရင် အပေါက်သေးသေးလေးမှာ တပ်ဆင်ထားတဲ့ ရုပ်ဖမ်းကင်မရာ (Pinhole Camera) ဟာ သူ့ရှေ့ကျရောက်လာတဲ့ ပုံရိပ်ရဲ့ အလင်းတွေကို ဖမ်းယူသလိုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အလားတူစွာပဲ အဲဒီ pit လေးဟာ သားကောင်တွေရဲ့ လျင်မြန်တဲ့လှုပ်ရှားမှုကို တိတိကျကျ သိရှိစေနိုင်လောက်တဲ့ အကျယ်အဝန်းအနေဖြင့် ၁ မီလီမီတာ အချင်းရှိပါတယ်။

ပါမောက္ခ ဂျူးလိယက်စ်ကတော့ "သားကောင်တွေရဲ့ လှုပ်ရှားမှုကို လျင်လျင်မြန်မြန်သိနိုင်ဖို့ အလွန်ကြောက်စရာကောင်းလှတဲ့ Pit Viper တွေရဲ့ ဦးနှောက်ဟာ ထူးကဲသာလွန်တဲ့ အပူလှိုင်းနဲ့ ရုပ်ပုံတွေကို အလွန်မြန်ဆန် တိကျတဲ့ နှုန်းနဲ့ တွက်ချက် အလုပ်လုပ်ပေးနိုင်ပါတယ်။" လို့ဆိုပါတယ်။

"ဇီဝလှုပ်ရှားမှု လေ့လာချက်တွေအရ Pit Viper တွေရဲ့ ခံစားနိုင်စွမ်းဟာ အလွန်ကောင်းမွန်ပြီး မြွေပွေးများ ၁ မီတာ အကွားအဝေးအထိ ထောက်လှမ်းနိုင်သကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။"

အပူနဲ့ထောက်လှမ်း ပုံဖော်နိုင်မှုဟာ အတော်ပင်အရေးပါပါတယ်။ ဘာကြောင့်ဆို အဲဒီ့တွေ့ရှိချက်ဟာ သားကောင်ကို ရင်ဆိုင်သင့်မသင့်၊ ရှောင်ဖယ်သွားဖို့ သင့်မသင့်ကို ဆုံးဖြတ်မယ့် ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်အတွက် အကောင်းဆုံးအဖြေရဖို့ ထောက်ပံ့ပေးနိုင်လို့ပါပဲ။

လေ့လာသူများကတော့ TRPA1 ရဲ့ အပူကိုဖမ်းယူ ခံစားတဲ့ တွေ့ရှိချက်အသစ်ကနေ ဆက်လေ့လာဖို့ လမ်းပွင့်သွားခဲ့ပါပြီ။

တကၠသုိလ္အဆင့္ မေရာက္ေသးတဲ့ ေက်ာင္းေတြကုိ တကၠသုိလ္ အဆင့္ျမွင့္ေနၿပီ။ ေနာက္သူတုိ႔ ႏုိင္ငံသားေတြကုိ စီမံခန္႔ခြဲေရးေနရာေတြကုိ ပုိခ်ေပးေစတယ္။ အဲဒီပညာရပ္ေတြကုိလည္း ဆည္းပူးဖုိ႔ ေထာက္ပံ့အားေပးတယ္။

မၾကာေသးခင္က အဂၤလိပ္စာနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္လုိ႔ ျမန္မာနဲ႔ သူတုိ႔ စလုံးေတြ နည္းနည္းရႈပ္သြားေသးတယ္ (အြန္လုိင္းမွာေပါ့)။ ျမန္မာေတြ ႏုိင္သြားခဲ့တယ္။ ႏုိင္တာက သူတုိ႔ စ ေကာက္ခ်က္ခ်မွားလုိ႔ သူတုိ႔ ဘာမွ ေျပာလုိ႔ သိပ္မရခဲ့တာ။ ဒါေပမယ့္ အဲဒီ့ ႏုိင္တဲ့ အေပၚမွာ မူးယစ္အထင္ႀကီးေနၿပီး ကုိယ္တုိင္ အဂၤလိပ္စာ အစ အသက္ေမြးမႈ ပညာ၊ အဆင့္ျမင့္ပညာေတြ ဆက္မေလ့လာဘဲ ေနမယ္ဆုိရင္ ေနာက္ ေလး ငါး ႏွစ္မွာ အဘက္ဘက္က ထုိးႏွက္မႈေတြကုိ ခံရလိမ့္မယ္လုိ႔ဆုိခ်င္တာ။
