(it's not my own idea) the lady, my room-mate once, paid the tax for the very first 4 months with half amount of normal. i mean if the normal tax payment per month is $80, she paid $40. our embassy accepted it cause she had a good reason. she said these 4 months were probation for her employment.
the other s-pass-holder paid tax for 2 years in advance just before she collect her PR card. as you know, tax for PR is $120/month(can save $40/month for 2 years).
what i'm saying is for employment in SG.
btw fri, do let me know if i miss out something and feel free to right if something's going wrong in grammer or usage
Last month i also cleared my tax for 1 year because i need to renew my s'pass and my passport also need to extend.I went there about 7 am Tuesday but i got serial no 93 you know why somebody went to embassy with the last mrt and they put their name in book and they slept at around there. I also saw somebody wash their face as soon as embassy opened.Everything i finished about 4 pm. It was really boring. I also paid S$80/ month.I really didn't want to pay.I asked some of my friends Phillipe and Indian they told me as they no need to pay tax to their embassy and they surprised it. Why like that?
There are some other ways i want to discuss. I don't want to put here as far as safety concerns :)
